SAGB 2015 Conference

The dust is now settling from yet another successful conference last month. The analysis of the official feedback we received was great, with some:

  • 97% of delegates rating the conference Excellent or Good.
  • 96.5% of delegates suggesting the conference was good value for money.
  • and 100% of those attending stating the conference fulfilled their reason for attending.

A very good result all round!! Our thanks go to our sponsors, The Crown Estate, Seafish, Natural England and Neogene Europe for their support

As always, we are very interested to hear from any members who didn’t attend and more importantly if there was a reason why not (time?, topics covered?, cost?, location? etc) Please do get in touch if you have any views, we would very much like to know if there is anything we can do to improve further and entice you to attend next year!

The Annual Dinner was again a sumptuous shellfishy affair and those present were entertained by a tremendously funny after dinner speech by Dr Paul Williams, CEO Seafish.

Our thanks also go our Dinner Sponsors, Marks and Spencer Plc, The Blue Seafood Company and Henderson’s seafoods – and we must not forget the wonderful staff at Fishmongers Hall who all helped make the event such a success.
